Following is a list of our current special events. Activities are also available on the church phone, ext. 3. Click on each heading for more detail. Bold items are new this update.
- Starfish Ministries is collecting coats, blankets, hats, scarves, gloves and new socks to help the homeless and low-income people in our area. These items can be brought to the church. - Flea Market - September 18 (Saturday) - 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. - start saving your gently-used items for the annual flea market. Help is needed on Friday and Saturday. Call the church to sign up. - Food Bank - September 21 (the 3rd Tuesday of the month) - 1:00 p.m. - Back-to-Church picnic - September 26 (NOTE CHANGE) - 5:30 p.m. - We're inviting anyone who ever attended MCC to return for a reunion picnic. ______________________________________________________________________________________ If you would like to be included in a regular prayer email please email Lou at lpmartin2@verizon.net .
- Pride Advocacy Rally - June 4 - 6:00 p.m. - Pittsburgh Pride Parade - June 13 - Noon - Janet Edwards message (click on 'Pittsburgh GLBT' above) - ESTHER - Women needed for heart disease project. - GLBT Book Discussion Group - every 3rd Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
